Postcomm extends consultation on price control

21 February 2003

Following representations from Postwatch and a number of other interested parties, Postcomm has decided to extend the consultation period on its price control proposals for Royal Mail.

The consultation period, which had been due to close on 10 March, will now be extended to 21 March.  Subject to consideration of the representations made, the revised timetable will still allow Postcomm to put the finalised licence changes into place by 1 April, if Royal Mail decides to accept them.
