Postcomm consults on details of compensation for delayed mail
23 April 2003
Postcomm today sought views on the details of how Royal Mail’s compensation scheme should operate for letters and packets that are delayed in the post.
In particular Postcomm wants views on the type of evidence people must provide when making a claim for late delivery and whether payments should be made to recipients of delayed bulk mail.
After taking account of responses to this formal consultation, Postcomm will make a determination to bring the scheme into operation.
